GGG Films was formed in 2019 by Greta Nash, Gillian Crosby and Gabrielle McLeod. Greta is a writer and a director with numerous short films, commercials and music videos under their belt. Gillian is a writer and producer who has dabbled in theatre and audio production, but her heart firmly belongs to film. Gabrielle is also a producer, with years of practical experience behind the scenes in film and television. Though they spent many years in each other’s orbit, their collaboration on the 2018 Tropfest-winning short film Two Piece drew the trio of Gs together for the first time.

Currently, GGG are in development with Screen Tasmania on their first feature film School Camp, a story of teenage friendship set against the backdrop of the Tasmanian wilderness. This project sees the team expand their nuanced on-screen exploration of contemporary adolescence, as seen previously in Locker Room and Two Piece.

Gabrielle McLeod

Producer

Gabrielle McLeod (she/her) is a producer who works on productions in both Melbourne and Tasmania.

Since graduating from the VCA with a Masters of Producing, she has produced a number of short films, music videos and commercials, including Close Counter’s Travel Treats, and the 2018 Tropfest-winning short film that began GGG films, Two Piece.

In 2019, Gabrielle produced Removals, a short film funded by the City of Greater Dandenong and completed a production attachment on Stan’s ‘The Gloaming’. Gabrielle also worked on the SBS mini series ‘Hungry Ghosts’ and the hit Netflix TV show ‘Clickbait’.

Gabrielle recently worked as Production Secretary on Amazon’s Tasmanian TV Show ‘Deadloch’, and is currently working on ABC’s ‘Bay of Fires’, also shooting in Tasmania.

You can often find Gabrielle enjoying a chilled red and cheese board, or helping her grandma navigate the perils of iMovie.

Gillian Crosby

Producer, Writer

Gillian Crosby (she/her) is a writer and producer based in Melbourne. She has produced short films, commercials, audio productions, music videos and one (somewhat ill-advised) play. She was named one of Screen Producers Australia’s ‘Ones To Watch’ in 2023.

She graduated from VCA in 2015, and has been collaborating with the other two Gs ever since, most notably on 2018 Tropfest winner ‘Two Piece’, as well as several music videos. Their first feature film, ‘School Camp’  is currently in development, supported by Screen Tasmania.

In 2021 she completed a Graduate Certificate of Creative Business through the Compton School under the mentorship of film producer Sue Maslin.

Gillian also wrote and directed the short film ‘Game Face’, which premiered at Flickerfest in 2023 and has been chosen to take part in their tour of Best Australian Shorts.

Gillian’s other skills include speaking French, cryptic crosswords, baking and knitting. She is happy to bring any or all of these to your set if relevant, or just to boost morale.

Greta Nash

Writer, Director

Greta Nash (they/she) is a Melbourne-based writer and director.

In 2023, Greta completed their latest short film Heart Throb. In 2022 Greta underwent a Director's Attachment on Run Rabbit Run, funded by Screen Australia. In 2021 Greta wrote a polished draft of their first feature, School Camp, funded by Screen Tasmania. In 2020 Greta received a City of Melbourne COVID-19 Arts Grant to commence work on the first draft.

Greta completed a Director’s attachment on Preacher, funded by Vicscreen (formerly Film Vic) in 2019, and wrote and directed Removals, a short film funded by the City of Greater Dandenong to raise awareness of family violence.

Greta wrote and directed the winning Tropfest film Two Piece in 2018. Their previous short film Locker Room premiered at the 2017 Melbourne International Film Festival and has since received over 9 million views online.

Greta works as a commercial film director, having helmed campaigns for clients such as Libra, Cadbury, Disney, Cricket Australia and Our Watch.

When not huddled over the computer writing, you can find Greta going for long bike rides and making long playlists of 80s europop.
